Closed Exempt contacts with an EU Digital COVID Certificate from self-isolation

People who have been vaccinated and hold an EU Digital COVID Certificate should be included in the exemptions from being required to self-isolate if they are identified as a close contact of someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

It is unjustifiable to not exempt those vaccinated against Covid-19 with an approved vaccine from isolation after contact with a confirmed case, just because their vaccine was administered outside the UK. If people have been vaccinated with a vaccine from the approved list of vaccines and hold an EU vaccination certificate, then they should enjoy the same exemptions as those who had the vaccine administered in the UK.
