Clean Air Zones & ULEZ expansion will reduce pollution. However, many lower-income people suddenly face huge daily running costs & devaluation of their vehicle.

We call on the government to support them by subsidising Euro 6 retrofits. This would benefit those on low income & British business.

We support the pollution-reduction aims of Clean Air Zones and ULEZ expansion.

However, the speed with which these policies have been introduced has disproportionately affected lower-income people.

UK-based businesses can retro-fit older vehicles to meet Euro 6 standards.

However, the cost is prohibitive for many people.

Subsidising this would benefit those on low incomes, British business, and reduce opposition to further environmental policy revisions.
