Closed Make telephone and text messaging cold calling illegal

Unsolicited telephone calls to landline or mobile phones often occur in the evening. Quality of life is disrupted. We should be protected from external pressures and interference. Our homes should be safe places. Our wellbeing should be protected against intrusive calls and texts.

I would like the Government to consider this issue and develop appropriate legislation to protect people from commercial intrusion, especially during “home time", which should be a time when people can disconnect from external intrusion.
