Closed Prohibit the sale and use in the UK of palm oil and its derivatives in foods

We call on the Government, now a study has established that palmitic acid, a constituent of palm oil, can encourage the spread of some cancers, to end the sale and use of palm oil in Britain.

Palm oil is used in an extremely wide range of processed foods. It is currently difficult to avoid, yet recent research has shown that it could exacerbate the growth of some cancers.

It is not acceptable that people should have their health and lives put at risk by food corporations that put profits before people and environment.
