Petition Make Covid vaccinations a requirement for Personal Assistants

Whilst there is a legal requirement for CQC regulated providers of health and social care services to be vaccinated against Covid-19, there is no such requirement for non regulated providers of social care services, such as Personal Assistants.

Those of us who are PAs support the most vulnerable members of our community, many carrying out exactly the same tasks as carers in domiciliary agencies and nursing homes. It makes no sense that these workers should be excluded from the requirement and we urge that this exclusion is reviewed and revised with urgency.
