Closed Take action to tackle DVLA medical review backlog

There is a serious backlog of medical reviews for the DVLA to process, and a lack of information about how this is being handled. This is having a serious impact on the lives of applicants, and causing significant distress to many. Action is needed to address this.

The Government should undertake an urgent review to establish the reasons for the current backlog and take immediate action to tackle these.

Consideration should also be given to the impact on applicants, and how they can be supported in the meantime.
