Rejected petition Close schools down as many students and teachers will be self isolating.
Many students and teachers will be self isolating during the entire month and schools are more likely to increase the spread as seen in November 2020, where another lockdown was needed in January 2021.

There is likely to see an increase in absences due to the celebration of Christmas and New year. Furthermore, the implementation of lockdown wouldn't work like January 2021 to reduce cases and number of hospitalisations. So, we would like the parliament to rethink its decision because double lockdown could have a massive impact during year 2022. Thank you!!
