In the past, kids could ride a car without a seatbelt,but the government changed the law to protect them.Why should their safety be any different online?Children use many apps every day to socialise and play games.But,so do abusers who easily friend & follow them,trace them from app to app.The Online Safety Bill should make tech companies responsible for spotting risks to kids safety on their platforms. Companies that don’t do this should be subject to fines and SNR managers be held accountable.
