Rejected petition Option to offer online classes for students

Most universities will now be fully offline classes for the new term starting in January, but because of the rampant spread of Omicron, it is hoped that universities will offer both online and offline options for students.

For international students, especially Chinese students, if they are infected with covid-19, they will face difficulties in returning to their home country. In particular, Chinese students who are in their final year of study in the UK may be trapped in the UK and unable to return to China if infected.
