Closed Require transformers and overhead cables be insulated & earthed to protect birds

Make it compulsory that all electricity transformers and overhead cables are plastic coated and earthed to make them wildlife friendly and help stop the deaths of birds.

Help make our countries' electricity equipment wildlife friendly.

The Barn Owl Trust have said that numerous birds are being electrocuted by coming into contact with uninsulated ‘droppers’ that connect each step-down transformer to the overhead 11,000 volt supply.
