Private landlords suffering absconding tenants leaving owing rent, unpaid utilities etc.
The debt is registered to the address, not the absconder.
It is illegal to run off without paying for a taxi or drive off without paying at a petrol station. Why is this issue a civil matter. It should be a criminal matter.
Landlords need basic contact detail of the absconder so that a European arrest warrant can be issued.
