I would like the Government to require all teachers to be trained in supporting children with special needs, to ensure that children with these needs are identified and receive the support they need.

Too many children who have special needs go undiagnosed because teachers do not have the knowledge to identify when a child has special needs.

I think requiring all school teachers to be trained in this area should improve the support children and parents get when going through the process of their child being diagnosed.
