Rejected petition Licences and Insurance for cyclists, e scooter users etc

Cyclists of any age at the moment have no requirement to have any form of formal training or sit any kind of test either theoretical or practical before venturing on to the roads. If we wish to make roads/streets safer for all then safety training and legal enforcement makes sense.

The government would also be able to raise much needed funds through the introduction of such measures in the form of licence fees, insurance taxes and dare I say fines.
