Gambling advertising is everywhere, often endorsed by celebrities, and with catchy theme tunes. These adverts glamourise and normalise gambling to the young and vulnerable.

Gambling is restricted to adults, and should not be advertised before the 9pm watershed.

I myself suffered a gambling addiction. This cost me more than money. I lost friends, self-esteem, self-worth, confidence. I even suffered with mental health issues.

Too many people suffer gambling addiction, which can lead to tragic consequences.

Gambling should not be allowed to be advertised on TV, radio or social media before 9pm.
