Rejected petition Raise sentencing for more extreme crimes like sexual assault
Make longer sentences for crimes like sexual assault etc and harsher than other crimes like drug use which is up to seven years.

It makes no sense why the punishment for intoxicating yourself is so high and the sentencing for physically and mentally harming another human being is lower.
Drug use has barely any effect on others but the person doing the drug themselves whereas sexual assault can cause multiple mental illnesses and physical injuries to the victim.
Drugs are a choice, being sexually assaulted is NOT.
