Closed Remove travel restrictions during visa processing for UK based applicants.

Allow people awaiting a decision on their UK settlement visa to travel abroad and return as and when needed.

Applicants are waiting upwards of 6 months to get a decision on their visa. Unless they are able to pay an additional £800 for an expedited response, they could lose their fees and immigration status if they have to travel. The home office is making an 800% profit on some applications and individuals are paying thousands of pounds for slow, inefficient service. The financial, emotional and physical effects of these restrictions can be devastating.
