UK as one of the leading voices in the world can set an example to progress, fight Women’s rights by empowering others to follow the way. By only making this day a public day we can achieve results; take actions, set policies, protect new gens - to the great cause marking it’s 110th annniversary!

International Women's Day (IWD) is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. It is also a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women. International Women’s Day (IWD) was first celebrated in 1911, in many Western countries. Made official in 1975 when the United Nations started celebrating the day.
