Closed Legislate to prevent misinformation about the Ukraine conflict on social media

Many widely used social media platforms – including those popular in the Russian speaking world – are flooded with Russian disinformation around the war in Ukraine. The Government should impose regulation on social media companies operating in the UK that stops this being available or promoted.

A single truth in a world of disinformation is key to ensuring that disinformation doesn’t allow authoritarian leadership to conduct horrific actions with impunity. It is also really important to prevent civil unrest between usually united people.
