Enact a temporary suspension of all taxes on all domestic fuels and energy (petrol, diesel, gas, electricity, etc) to protect UK citizens from the effects of global price rises in the wholesale gas and oil markets. This would reduce the impact of increased prices on UK citizens.

The UK Government has a duty to protect UK citizens from the effects of global markets making or allowing those citizens to be drawn into a fuel poverty situation. By enacting a temporary suspension to all taxes on fuels and energy. It would better allow UK households and employers to operate as normal without being financially crippled due to rapidly increasing fuel prices. It would also reduce the impact to consumers of withdrawing from the the Russian fuel market without.
