Closed petition Offer second boosters to every person over 50 or clinically vulnerable

Second boosters/fourth doses must be immediately offered to every person over 50 or clinically vulnerable. Ideally this should be offered around 4 months after the first booster/third dose. Walk-in vaccinations are needed to facilitate this rollout throughout Spring.

Evidence from UKHSA reports indicate waning protection against mild symptomatic infection from boosters after 3 months. Also data in England shows hospitalisations due to Covid-19 remain high.

Moreover, early evidence, including from Israel, shows that a 4th dose improves protection against severe disease. Since all legal restrictions have been removed, vulnerable and older people need better protection as soon as possible.
