We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Fund a public health campaign on cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Fund a public health campaign which includes guidance on how to do cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to help in public places when you see a cardiac arrest, in order to create more understanding of Cardiac Arrests and the ways to prevent fatalities from them.

More details

Every year 100,000 people pass away as a result of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in the United Kingdom.
CPR is a way to, for that anyone who knows how to do it, save a life of those suffering from a Cardiac Arrest.

If public health advertisements were advertised, both physically and on national television, the 100,000 fatalities from SCA can be limited because of a bystander who knew how to do CPR and did the right thing and helped.
