Closed Extend the Warm Home Discount to everyone with a disability

Hundreds of thousands of disabled people are not eligible to claim the "Warm Home Discount". Although only £140, in these times of 'rocketing' fuel prices it could make the choice between heating and eating harder! I want anyone with a disability to be able to claim this discount.

Many of the most vulnerable in society are not eligible to claim the Warm Home Discount, because they are not receiving means-tested benefits. These people often need higher temperatures than those without disabilities. I believe the current policy unfairly discriminates against many disabled people.
