We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee
Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Rejected petition Adjust the school system so students can choose when they come into school.
Adjusting the school system so it fits to this would increase students mental capacity and the issues they face with school. It would be a must they have to come into school (Unless ill) but up until 10am they have the option to enter whenever they deem necessary to themselves.
More details
It would greatly improve students willingness to come to school and would likely create a better atmosphere, as a lot of students don't sleep very well, an extra hour in bed is just what they need. They would miss lessons, but schools could create a way around that by putting lessons like Physical Education and Drama into the first 2 lessons of the day, meaning students don't miss viable periods like Maths and English.
This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
It's not clear if you want school students to be able to start school at whatever time they like, or for school before 10am to be made optional.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Start school at 10am to help teenagers with tiredness: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/612113
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
