Closed Allow children of dependent parents of an EU citizen sponsor to come to the UK

Change Home Office policy so as to allow children of dependent parents of EU citizens to join them in the UK through the EU Settlement Scheme.

The relevant legal provisions (Appendix EU and Appendix EU (Family Permit)) allow for certain family members of EU citizens to join the latter in the UK. This includes their children, certain partners and dependent parents.
But, there are shortfalls that lead to absurd, unfair and harsh consequences. For example, a minor child of a dependent parent of an EU citizen sponsor is not permitted to join their parents and sponsor under either appendix.
It is crucial, therefore, that this is changed.
