Closed Support a 'Kyiv Conference' to reform the UN

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed holding a global conference in Kyiv to reform the United Nations, during an address to the Security Council on Tuesday 5th April 2022. The UK government should support this proposal and work with others to hold a conference to reform the UN.

We believe that the Ukraine war has shown that the UNSC is flawed in its current format, and requires reform to make it effective and fit for the 21st Century. A conference in Kyiv could help achieve this.
