The British government must call for economic and financial sanctions against the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, to pressure the Venezuelan authorities into respecting the right of its citizens to protest, freedom of speech and of the press, and human rights in general.

The British government must introduce legislation in the British Parliament to approve economic and financial sanctions against the government of Venezuela.

The British government must also introduce a proposal to the European Commission to approve economic and financial sanctions against the government of Venezuela.
