Closed Abolish Cafcass and review how parental alienation is assessed in family courts

The Government should abolish the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass) and hold a review to look at how parental alienation is assessed in family court cases.

In particular, this review should consider whether parental alienation specialists are needed in the family court system.

This would help to ensure that the most recent understanding of child development and psychology is reflected in Cafcass work.
