The Government should require schools to teach children about the impact of fire on the environment, particularly moorland, and how it can affect fire services’ ability to respond to other emergencies.
This should make people more aware of the risks of starting fires outdoors, and help to prevent devastating effects on our moorland and the environment as a whole.
