Closed Make resale of Tobacco Related Products a licenced activity

Introduce a requirement for wholesalers, importers and resellers of tobacco related products (including e-cigarettes, e-cigarette liquid refills and all associated products) to hold a personal licence similar to that required for the sale of alcohol.

To put an end to rogue sellers dealing in illegal / non-compliant products, to remove rogue wholesalers from the industry and penalise any seller that fails to adhere to TRPR regulations.

To put an end to illegal import of products that are not authorised for sale in the UK.

This will also help to reduce the growing problem of underage sales and the issue of minirs becoming addicted to high strength products (or any tobacco related products) that are currently openly sold for very low cost.
