Closed petition Move all Monday bank holidays to a Friday
I believe the Jubilee weekend has demonstrated that a Friday is better for everyone, and that this change will benefit works as long weekends would start on a prime day for socialising, and many people are more productive at the beginning of the working week.

Many people are productive on a Monday and may be more likely to be stressed if they do not work a bank holiday Monday, as they feel a need to catch up.
However, if a person knows on a Monday they have four days to complete work, they can better enjoy the Friday bank holiday.
