To create a bank holiday in June so the Queen's Platinum Jubilee will always be remembered and celebrated. Her selfless work and leadership should be recognised and her historic achievements recognised.

The Queen has achieved a 70 year milestone that no other monarch before her has done and is unlikely to be achieved by future monarchs. The celebrations that the public have taken part in throughout the UK over the Jubilee weekend, have bought communities together and this is one of the Queen's legacies and it should always be remembered.
