Closed petition Make it illegal to refuse to employ or dismiss a person based on their tattoos

Make it so that employers can't fire existing employees or refuse to hire future ones because of a tattoo. The only legal exception to the rule should be if the tattoo depicts or endorses inappropriate or discriminatory behavior.

More details

I want the Government or Parliament to do this because the aesthetic of an individual person and what they choose to do with their body should not have an effect on their employment if they are perfectly capable of the job they have or have applied for. In a situation where a tattoo is discriminatory towards others or openly suggests violent or discriminatory acts towards others, then I believe it is justified for an employer to refuse work for an individual, that should be the only exception.
