Rejected petition British TV. Too many adverts, repeats and American TV. Nothing ever new

Cut the number of channels which just show repeats. Cut the number of American rubbish & get new British made content non-reality on our screens.

TV programmes just loop. So every few hours the same programme, recorded voice-over is played. Example: UK group (Dave/Gold/Really etc). They play on one channel, switch to another channel & play the same content there. ITV3/Channel 5 are the same.

Adverts are now 6 minutes long & Christmas time are longer. Its record the programme, fast forward the adverts (upto 1 min) then watch part 2 of the same repeat.
