Rejected petition Start a public referendum on the removal of Boris Johnson from office.

I wish for not a vote of no confidence in the houses of parliament, but a public referendum on the removal of Boris Johnson from his offices as both an MP and the Prime Minister for his various faliures in his management of the various crises that occured so far during his term in office.

More details

The Prime Minister is an office which can determine the fate of hundreds of thousands of people, and therefore the people should not only be allowed to choose who to elect, but when to replace them. If they have been a complete and utter faliure, we, the public, as those who are affected by his decisions, should be allowed to exercise our democratic right and call for a new, more competent leader.

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about honours or appointments.

We can't publish petitions that call for people to be sacked or otherwise lose their job. We could accept a petition that calls for the public to be given powers to remove a Prime Minister, if that's what you'd like to see happen.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
