The Government should publish data on the deaths of health staff from Covid-19 by ethnicity, as it is in the public interest to do so.

It is incumbent upon the Government to be transparent about what happened in health care during the pandemic. This includes who died amongst health care staff, by ethnicity, by age and gender. The experience of Black and minority ethnic staff has been highlighted in the media. We demand transparency and accountability regarding what happened in the pandemic including data about the deaths of staff by ethnicity.
