Closed Urge Pakistani Government to ensure free & fair elections & protect human rights

The UK Government should speak up for citizens of Pakistan and urge the Pakistani Government to ensure that elections in the country are free and fair.

The Government should also urge the Pakistani Government to ensure its citizens' human rights are protected, and not use state machinery against them.

I am a Front Line human rights defender who believes in equity and democracy. The UK Government has taken a stand for Ukraine and against human rights abuses in other parts of the world, and should do the same for Pakistan. The UK is an advocate for human rights so should convey a clear message to the Pakistani Government.
