Closed petition Abolish the benefit cap

The Government should abolish the benefit cap as too many people can't afford to live because of the money that gets taken. The benefit cap can leave people with just a few hundred pounds to last them a month.

We need the Government to do this because people are struggling to live. They would not be able to live on 300 pounds a month, so why should we? We’ve worked and paid our way so why should we suffer now?
