Closed Set a legal maximum temperature in HGV trucks

We call on the Government to set a maximum legal temperature for HGV cabs. HGV drivers should not be expected to drive for many hours in excessive heat. This can cause tiredness and could be potentially dangerous to all road users.

With the implementation of a maximum working temperature we hope this will encourage haulage companies to ensure their cabs are fitted with air-conditioning, for haulage services to continue, even in high temperatures.
