Rejected petition Require that flats built from 2010 onward be retrofitted with air conditioning.
Multi flat new builds from 2010 onward must be required to install air conditioning units in order to provide safe housing for tenants during the summer months. Simply requiring better insulation is not sufficient enough.

The number of days with temperatures of 30+ degrees are increasing. It is important for the health and safety of UK residents that there be housing options that are not inhumane during the summer months.
