Closed Ban the sale of over the counter medicines which contain codeine

Make it so that any medicines containing codeine cannot be sold over the counter, and are only available on a prescription basis in the UK.

It has affected the lives of myself and my family and many other people I know. Codeine is a powerful drug that can have serious side effects, and be addictive. We believe there is absolutely no reason for it to be easily available without a prescription.
