Closed petition Make helmets a legal requirement for all self-propelled vehicles

I want you to make helmets a compulsory requirement, on any form of transport that is powered by human energy, such as bikes. As I like many others have suffered a head trauma following a bike accident.

I would like to make this change so other families don't have to go through the same heart break, mine has been through. There is much debate about whether helmets should be compulsory, but studies have found that they can reduce head injury and brain trauma by well over 50%. Individuals who do not wear a helmet should be fined.
