Rejected petition Reinstate Boris Johnson as Prime Minister of the UK.

Place Boris Johnson back as leader of the Conservative party as he has been forced out not by the people who voted him in, the general public, but parliamentarians who have not consulted correctly with all their constituents. It’s requested he is reinstated with immediate effect.

More details

Failing being able to reinstate him as he is already still Prime Minister and there being a leadership contest, at the very least place him on the ballot with the other candidates and allow party members to decide.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about honours or appointments.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes petitions making requests about the appointment of a new Prime Minister.

In any case, decisions about the election of a new leader of the Conservative Party are a matter for that party, not the UK Government or Parliament.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
