We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Additives should have their ingredients shown, not broadly called 'flavourings.'

I would like the broad term words 'flavourings' and 'natural flavourings,' to stop being allowed on ingredients lists, and instead, all the ingredients used in making the additives, provided on the label, so everyone knows exactly what they are eating- it shouldn't be hidden what we're consuming.

More details

Everyone should be made aware of, what they are consuming. By just putting the words 'flavourings,' or 'natural flavourings,' you are hiding what we are putting in our bodies, and not being transparent. Back in the Victorian times, additives were put in bread to make the colour whiter, or the bread seem heavier or thicker, milk also- those were toxic substances- people didn't know then, & don't now. 'Flavourings' are unnatural chemicals, but what chemicals? We have a right to know. Health>profit
