Rejected petition To hold a new general election ahead of the one in 2025

To allow the British people to be able to revote on the next party to lead the country as well as being able to hold a general election when the people demand it.
The current government have failed the people and have now led the country into a recession, we have now have the worst living crises the country has seen in decades. The current party have failed and misled the public for years, with gas and energy bill at an all time high, food banks becoming the norm and people going into poverty, we should be able to demand a change of leadership and party under these circumstances as well as be able to have a greater say in what laws will be implemented.
Why was this petition rejected?
There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
