Closed petition Deliver an emergency budget to deal with the cost of living crisis

The Government is being urged to act by the public, but does not appear to be doing anything to mitigate the impending crisis that millions are facing. An emergency budget must take place as soon as practicable to offer real support to those who are facing wipeout in the autumn and winter.

The Government has the power to introduce a comprehensive support package that can be delivered in time before the utterly scandalous increase in energy prices takes place in the autumn. Whilst this Government's days are numbered, they are paid and elected by us to serve the best interests of the British people, and sitting idly by whilst other countries take appropriate measures is utterly negligent and dangerous.
