Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Rejected petition Make child alienation from another parent a crime

Make the alienation of children from a parent a criminal offence.

More details

When parents divorce, its hard enough for children to cope with their new life. Too many parents alienate, groom and condition their children to hate and ultimately cease contact with their mother or father. For the child, this has long lasting and far reaching psychological consequences and impacts on their education and mental health. For parents, its devastating, lives are ruined and relationships between children and their parents destroyed.

This should be a crime for those responsible.
