Closed Ban button batteries from being used in children’s toys.

Ban the sale of toys containing button batteries in the UK, swallowing these batteries can be fatal to children.

Swallowing button batteries can be fatal to children or cause life changing injuries. Batteries can burn through the oesophagus quickly and requires emergency surgery.

The Government knows the dangers as there is a www.gov.uk article about this subject.

Why are they included in toys for to children? Remove these toys from sale to reduce the risk of battery ingestion and help save children’s lives.
