We’re waiting for a new Petitions Committee

Petitions had to stop because of the recent general election. Once a new Petitions Committee is set up by the House of Commons, petitions will start again.

Closed petition Require schools to have cubicles in student changing rooms

We believe schools should be required to have cubicles in student changing rooms, so students can change in privacy. In many schools students have no choice but to change in front of classmates.

More details

It is not okay that children are often expected to change in front of their classmates. All students should be able to change in private, in a cubicle, when getting changed at school.

Some children use their phones in changing rooms, and could be taking photos or videos of other children getting changed. Requiring schools to have cubicles in changing rooms should help protect the privacy of children.
