Lowering the income tax basic rate to 10% from 20% will help the overall economy in its own way.

People will have more money to live, which will be ideal in this current cost of living crisis. I also believe this will encourage people to shop more, because they have the extra money to do so, this will help businesses due to more people shopping. Overall happiness will increase due to having more money to live and also less money stress for those who don’t have higher incomes. This will help feed the economy since we may actually put more into businesses that need support from the public
