Closed Create an obligatory tenancy deposit scheme for commercial premises

Deposit schemes should be made mandatory for ALL leases not just private domestic tenants but for commercial lease deposits.

I believe that if commercial tenancies were covered by the same laws as domestics this wouldn’t be happening. Some landlords are taking advantage of the difference in the rules behind rentals, there should be no difference, every lease deposit should be protected to ensure landlord and tenant are both working to look after each other.
